Mech O Tech Llp builds Tropane Alkaloids Extraction Plants from stainless steel. The metal resists corrosion and withstands the acid rich vapours that rise during herbal processing. A 415 V motor drives the semi automatic solvent circuit - the user sets the batch size plus the machine keeps the flow, pressure and temperature within the chosen limits. Heat but also flake thickness are all adjustable - the yield of hyoscyamine, scopolamine and related alkaloids reaches the highest level the plant allows. The unit ships in modules that bolt together on site - engineers from the supplier complete the assembly as well as the first test run. Once installed, the extractor repeats each cycle with the same charge weight, solvent volume and purge time - every batch leaves the same ratio of active alkaloid to dry residue. The layout scales from a single column for pilot work to parallel banks for multi ton feedstock but each module keeps the same valve layout, sensor ports or clean-in-place headers. Built in switches and level sensors stop the pump next to close the solvent valves if a vessel leaves the set range - spills, overheating and lost batches occur rarely.
