Description

The Parsley Seeds & Berries Distillation Plant with a 5 TPD capacity from Mech O Tech LLP delivers efficient extraction for herbal and solvent processing applications. The unit extracts active components through steam and solvent contact in a closed stainless steel column. A motor driven agitator keeps the charge in motion while a heat exchanger condenses the vapor. The control panel lets the operator set temperature, pressure as well as cycle time - once the cycle starts, the unit runs without further intervention until the batch ends. The plant accepts 415 V three phase supply at 50 Hz, the same supply found in most Indian factories - no extra transformer or stabilizer is required. Every weld, valve and seal on the unit is produced in the company's Kolkata workshop - local spares or service engineers are available within 24 hours. The heater draws 36 kW when it is active but thick insulation and a variable frequency pump lower total energy demand per kilogram of material. Although parsley is the reference feed, the operator can load dill seed, coriander seed, juniper berry or black pepper next to obtain the same essential oil yield provided the correct temperature profile is selected. The column wall is five millimetres thick and pressure rated to 4 bar - the unit tolerates continuous operation in solvent rich, high humidity rooms.
