The Herbal Extraction Plant for Artemisia annua built by Mech O Tech LLP processes Artemisia annua with partial automation. Stainless steel forms every vessel, pipe and pump that contacts the herb or the solvent. The unit runs on 240 V plus contains a heavy duty motor. Daily throughput reaches ten metric tons. Operators adjust flake thickness, hydraulic pressure and heat through dedicated controls. Electric sensors keep the solvent-to-herb ratio within tight limits. The final concentrate meets pharmaceutical but also nutraceutical purity targets. Sealed bearings and readily accessed filters limit unplanned stops. The layout allows one technician to start, monitor as well as clean the line.
